In 1981 I "Answered the Call" as a recruit with the Atlanta Police Department; now some 29 years later, I am still proudly serving with this department. Throughout my years here I have seen the organization grow and become better and brighter; as recruits from a wide variety of backgrounds have continued to bring new levels of talent to our agency.

As you apply with our department, know that you are applying with one of the best law enforcement agencies in the Southeast. The opportunities at the Atlanta Police Department are extensive; from patrolling a major city to working a Gang Task Force to participating in the investigative efforts of Homeland Security.
